Few Technical Textiles demand precise thickness and
air permeability to be controlled across and length of the textile substrate. This can be achieved by suitable combination of time (speed), tension
(pressure) and temperature. In addition to above factor, the shore harness of
the covering of the calendar roll also plays an import part based on the
principle of action and reaction are equal and opposite. In this background,
the configuration of wool paper / steel plays an important roll in achieving
the parameters. The configuration of steel / TT3 roller helps in preparing
uniform thickness of the textile substrate and also helps to derive special
finish by appropriate combination of time, tension and temperature.
ramischGuarneri Calendar with the configuration as
stated above, has helped to control the air permeability, thickness and
uniformity of surface to precise level and can be operated at speed ranging
from 15 to 25 meters per minute based on functional requirements.
Possible future application of such combination lies
in milling fabric and filter fabrics where opening size of the mesh is
required to be controlled in a narrow range.
In case of technical problems, the response from ramishGuarneri
has been prompt and positive. However, it is felt that operational manual,
training and certain local services have to be made available in India to
reduce the down time/idle period, which is an important factor for any
manufacturing activity.

Under AMC’s, we undertake preventive maintenance of machines at pre-determined intervals. During these visits our engineers will assess the condition of machines and recommend the parts/components which are to be replaced, for preventing any possible machine breakdown and for ensuring the smooth performance of machines
